Job summary

Carrier, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, seeks a Shipping Auditor to verify outbound shipments of HVAC equipment and components. You will ensure that products, labeling, and documentation meet standards before shipment, working closely with Shipping, Warehouse, Production, and Transportation teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in shipping, warehousing, logistics, inventory control, or auditing.
• 1+ years in HVAC or industrial equipment manufacturing with shipping docs.
• 2+ years of data entry using a database or software.
• 2+ years of Word/Excel usage.
• 2+ years with WMS/ERP/SAP.
• Forklift Certification obtainable.
• Overtime and weekend work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Audit outbound shipments for correct products, quantities, and serial numbers.
• Verify shipping documents: bills of lading, packing lists, labels, and carrier paperwork.
• Confirm units are configured, packaged, labeled, and secured for transport.
• Inspect HVAC equipment for damage and readiness for shipment.
• Validate inventory transactions and investigate variances.
• Conduct final shipment quality checks before carrier pickup.
• Ensure compliance with shipping procedures and regulations.
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, and carrier teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain audit records and generate reports on quality and variances.
• Identify trends and suggest process improvements.
• Support cycle counts and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with customer claim investigations related to shipping.
