Job summary

Adient is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage daily route manifests, dock and yard trailer movements, and related paperwork in our Illinois facility. The role supports production and replenishment with accurate recordkeeping and strict safety adherence.

The ideal candidate maintains up-to-date forklift certification, ensures timely input of receipts, and coordinates logistics to and from outside warehouses, while upholding BOS and CTPAT requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating logistics and shipping/receiving.
• Forklift license valid and up-to-date.
• Knowledge of BOS requirements for shipping records.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with CTPAT requirements and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily route manifest log.
• Verify receiving and shipping windows; notify supervisor of concerns.
• Update hot parts board when expedited parts arrive.
• Manage dock and yard inventory trailer movements to support production and replenishment.
• Manage trailer tracking sheet.
• Maintain accurate paperwork to support trailer inventory in yard.
• Maintain records of seat shipping system (BOS requirements).
• Coordinate logistics to and from outside warehouses.
• Input incoming receipts on a timely basis.
• Maintain records of packing slips.
• Maintain records of returnable containers.
• Track truckload utilization (TUMS).
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Maintain all CTPAT requirements (trainable).
• Must have up-to-date forklift license.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures in production areas.
• Maintain BOS requirements for shipping, receiving, and transportation management.

• Manage and Coordinate Daily Route Manifest Log.
• Verify Receiving and Shipping Windows are met- communicate concerns to supervisor
• Updates Hot Parts Board when expedited parts arrive.
• Manage the Dock and Yard Inventory Trailer movements to support production and supermarket lines of replenishment.
• Manage Trailer Tracking Sheet.
• Manage and maintain accurate paperwork to support part inventory of trailers in yard.
• Maintains records of seat shipping system (BOS requirements)
• Coordinate any logistics to and from outside warehouse/s.
• Manage the input of incoming receipts on a regular timely basis.
• Diligently maintains records of packing slips
• Maintains records of returnable containers
• Maintain system for accurately tracking Truckload Utilization. (TUMS)
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Maintain all CTPAT requirements (Trainable)
• Must have up-to-date forklift license.
• Ensures compliance with all safety procedures and ensures safe working procedures in assigned production areas.
