Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking an Outbound Operation Supervisor for our Portland, OR Service Center. You will lead dock and dispatch operations, manage drivers and freight handlers, and ensure safety and efficient scheduling in a fast-paced environment.

We offer full-time hours, PTO after opening period, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, and paid vacation and holidays at our resort properties.

Qualifications

• Basic leadership experience required.
• Ability to lead in fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, communication and logistical skills.
• Solid problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of quality freight handling preferred.
• Must have computer skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of the City, and surrounding areas.
• Prior LTL leadership experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Driver and Freight Handler Management.
• Coordinate Dock Operation and Driver/Freight Handler scheduling.
• Ensure Safety Compliance.
• Ensure quality freight handling procedures are followed.
• Timely dispatching of LTL Loads.
• Other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager.
