Job summary

Clark Mechanical Services, Inc. is hiring Short-Term Outbound Material Handlers (6 months) for our 3rd shift at the Cumberland, MD distribution center.

This temporary assignment offers a $3.00/hour bonus for all hours worked, paid at contract completion. You will locate and pull products using handheld scanners and ERP, operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment, pack orders, and help meet daily goals while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Retrieve items from racking accurately and efficiently, using handheld scanning devices and ERP system.
• Sort and consolidate picked items using handheld scanning devices, preparing customer orders for shipment processing.
• Pack products accurately and securely using our internal SPS system, focusing on providing an excellent customer experience.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and computers, following all established protocols and promoting safe working standards.
• Meet all expected performance standards regarding efficiency, accuracy and quality of work.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards.
• Work closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goals.
• Abide by all company and warehouse policies.
• Flex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the overall operation.

We are currently seeking Short-Term Outbound Material Handlers (6 months) for our 3rd shift at our distribution center in Cumberland, MD. This is a temporary assignment with the potential for contract extension based on business needs and performance review.

The Order Picker locates and pulls products from warehouse locations to fulfill orders.This role operates a variety of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, in a safe and efficient manner to meet daily objectives.
