Job summary

WebstaurantStore is seeking a Short-Term Outbound Material Handler (6 months) for our Cumberland, MD distribution center on the 3rd shift. This temporary assignment may extend based on needs and performance.

The Order Picker locates and pulls products, using handheld scanners and ERP systems, and may operate forklifts to fulfill daily orders. Responsibilities include loading, packing, and preparing items for shipment, while meeting safety guidelines and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a distribution environment is preferred but not required.
• 1 year+ of relevant distribution experience is common for this role.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve items from racking accurately using handheld devices and ERP system, on foot or with forklift.
• Sort and consolidate picked items for shipment processing.
• Pack products securely using the SPS system and maintain customer experience quality.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners and computers per safety protocols.
