Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking an Outbound Logistics Operations Analyst to support reporting and transportation strategy for the pool point network.

You will manage day-to-day transportation scheduling, resolve service issues, and provide exceptional customer service to stores, pool points, carriers, and internal partners. This role requires advanced Excel, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives to improve cost efficiency and service

Responsibilities

• Generate and publish operational reporting for the pool point network.
• Support day-to-day transportation scheduling activities including cancellations and delivery schedule adjustments.
• Serve as a key customer service liaison for stores, pool points, carriers, and internal partners.
• Forecast network volume and communicate expected demand to carriers and logistics partners.
• Manage communications regarding delivery schedules, service requirements, operational changes, and special requests.
• Maintain transportation data and administrative reporting functions including new store additions and carrier changes.
• Analyze operational and financial data to support transportation strategy and business decisions.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to benchmark performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and drive effective solutions.

Position Overview

The Outbound Logistics Operations Analyst is responsible for generating and publishing operational reporting for the pool point network while providing analytical support to drive transportation strategy, network performance, and cost-effective execution. The role manages day-to-day transportation scheduling activities, including cancellations, pallet maximum changes, and delivery schedule adjustments, while serving as a key customer service liaison for stores, pool points, carriers, and internal business partners. A Day in the Life Support day-to-day transportation operations by coordinating delivery schedules and resolving service-related issues for stores, pool points, carriers, and distribution partners. Generate, maintain, and distribute operational reporting, including store visibility reports, backlog reporting, KPI tracking, and transportation performance metrics. Forecast network volume and communicate expected demand to carriers and logistics partners to support capacity planning and service execution. Manage communications regarding delivery schedules, service requirements, operational changes, and special business requests while providing exceptional customer service. Maintain transportation data and administrative reporting functions, including new store additions, carrier changes, and network updates. Analyze operational and financial data to support transportation strategy and business decision-making. Develop and monitor KPIs to benchmark performance and identify improvement opportunities. Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and drive effective solutions. Confidently manage business conflicts and facilitate stakeholder alignment.
