Bell Lumber & Pole is seeking an Outbound Freight Coordinator in New Brighton, MN. This onsite role handles BOL creation, paperwork, customer communication, and load scheduling to maximize truck capacity and on-time deliveries.

The position operates Monday–Friday, 6 AM–2 PM, with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package. Prior logistics/dispatch and export experience are required, along with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 5 years proven logistics/dispatch experience.
• 3 years proven export experience.
• Knowledge of lumber shipping and/or forestry product shipping.

Responsabilités

• Create BOLs for shipments leaving the yard by truck or rail.
• Prepare driver paperwork including instructions, maps and staking sheets.
• Contact customers 24–48 hours before shipments leave.
• Ensure accuracy of shipping data and update BOL in system.
• Forward BOL copies to customers as needed.
• Collaborate with managers to schedule outbound loads and dates.
• Provide load instructions to drivers and yard staff.
• Act as main contact for trucking and routing calls.
• Coordinate delivery of back orders and optimize truck capacity.
• Update customer websites with shipment info and keep customers informed.
• Ensure stock readiness for customer pickup and manage inbound reports.
