Job summary

Bell Lumber & Pole is seeking an Outbound Freight Coordinator to join our New Brighton, MN team. You will create BOLs for truck and rail shipments, prepare driver paperwork, and maintain accurate shipping details while communicating with customers and yard staff.

You will work on a 6AM–2PM schedule, onsite at our Minnesota yard, with compensation ranging from $58,000 to $70,000 per year. This role requires strong logistics and export experience and knowledge of lumber shipping.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years proven logistics/dispatch experience.
• Minimum 3 years proven in Export processes.
• Knowledge of lumber shipping and/or forestry product shipping.

Responsibilities

• Create BOLs for shipments leaving the yard by truck or rail.
• Prepare paperwork for drivers including special instructions and staking sheets.
• Contact customers 24–48 hours before shipments leave the yard or as requested.
• Ensure accuracy of shipping information and update BOL date.
• Collaborate with managers to schedule outbound loads and shipping dates.
• Act as main point of contact for trucking calls and routing from dispatchers.
