Outbound Email Sequence Copywriting Specialist - Outbound Sales Materials (Execution and Implementation)

Purple Sales Solutions has helped technology companies grow across the US, Canada, Europe, and beyond since 2017. We deliver inbound and outbound B2B lead generation from our Toronto HQ. We're now building a high-performance digital marketing and operations team in South Africa, where we have had team members for three years.

The Role

We are seeking a fast-moving, metric-driven full-time Outbound Email Sequence Copywriting Specialist to scale our agency's B2B cold outreach email campaigns. You will execute weekly Outbound Sales content for our clients and design marketing and sales development materials that fuel our outbound lead generation programs. This is a hands-on production role.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between creative copywriting and high-intent sales prospecting. You won't just write templates; you will craft custom, hyper-personalized messaging and LinkedIn outreach angles that catch executive attention and unlock high response rates.

Key Responsibilities

• Write Personalized Outreach: Craft brief, compelling cold emails, personalized LinkedIn sequences, and custom profile "openers" tailored to target personas. Create follow-up email templates and call scripts based on onboarding materials.
• Create Sales Development Materials for outbound Lead Generation campaigns and Marketing briefs and PDF sales content.
• Run A/B Tests: Constantly launch and analyze alternative subject lines, pain-point callouts, and Calls-to-Action (CTAs) to maximize performance.
• Incorporate Reply-Rate Feedback: Closely monitor metrics (open, click, and reply rates) and refine messaging angles continuously based on real performance data.
• Review Persona Mapping: Coordinate with our lead research team to align custom copywriting angles with precise business demographics and growth signals.
• Implement email sequencing tools such as Instantly and HubSpot.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to improve system usability.
• Maintain the Agency Guidelines: Ensure all high-volume copy sounds authentic, natural, and humanly targeted while operating efficiently to meet daily campaign targets.

Requirements & Skills

• Proven Copywriting Track Record: 1-3 years of experience writing direct-response copy, follow-up emails, or dedicated sales outreach.
• Outbound Sales DNA: Prior experience as an SDR, BDR, or working directly alongside an outbound lead generation pipeline is highly valued.
• The "Human Tone" Instinct: Exceptional English command with an innate ability to avoid sounding like a bot or generic template.
• Target-Driven Mindset: Comfortable writing at pace toward clear daily and weekly output goals while prioritizing high-standard metrics.
• Platform Savvy: Familiarity with modern outreach and CRM stacks (e.g., HubSpot, Apollo, Lemlist, Instantly, or Salesforce.com, Salesloft, Outreach.io) is preferred. Knowledge and experience in integrating and connecting the CRM of our choice (HubSpot) with other tools through API, Zapier, or natively. Proficient with Word documents and Claude.ai.

Nice to Have

• Design skills in Canva, Figma, or Adobe at a junior level.
• B2B (preferably IT/SaaS) sector exposure.
• Light web development: WordPress, Webflow, basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Extensive use of Apollo, Lusha, and ZoomInfo for contact data lists.
• Capabilities to research and build targeted contact lists based on the Ideal Customer Profile and Buyer Persona.
• HubSpot Sales Hub Certificate a plus.
• HubSpot Marketing Hub Certificate a plus.
