Job summary

Arvato Direct Services Potsdam GmbH is seeking an Outbound Clerk for our warehouse operations. You will prepare outbound orders, manage related paperwork, and liaise with carriers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth shipments.

The role includes data entry in the warehouse management system and occasional floor work with equipment operators. The candidate should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, SAP or other WMS experience, and proficiency in English and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing and shipping, and with equipment like forklifts, order pickers, and pallet runners.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outbound orders and related paperwork (BOLS, delivery manifests, yard docs).
• Communicate with delivery carriers and coordinate with supervisor/lead and service/trade teams.
• Perform data entry into the warehouse management system and file documents.
• Occasionally work on the warehouse floor with equipment operators.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely if lift certified by Arvato.

Arvato is currently seeking an Outbound Clerk who possesses a keen eye for detail, excels in communication, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Hours for 3rd Shift:Sunday - Thursday 10 PM- 6:30 AM

Job Description

YOUR TASKS

• In this role, you will help prepare outbound orders and necessary paperwork associated with each, i.e. BOLS, delivery manifests, yard management documents.
• You will communicate with different delivery carriers, work directly with the supervisor and lead in this department and will also communicate with our service delivery and Trade teams.
• This role will require data entry into a warehouse management system and filing documents and forms.
• You will occasionally have to be out on the warehouse floor and will work with our warehouse equipment operators.
• You may be required to operate warehouse equipment in a safe manner (Only when lift certified by Arvato).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• SAP or other WMS experience.
• Previous experience in operations of Warehousing and Shipping and use of equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet runners.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook.
