Job summary

Out West Restaurant Group in California is hiring a front-of-house team member for Outback Steakhouse. You will provide friendly, prompt service, learn our menu, and help guests have an AUS-SOME dining experience.

Responsibilities include taking accurate orders, delivering food and beverages, bussing tables, and upselling. We emphasize teamwork, food safety, and compliance with California wage laws.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to sell alcohol.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Able to work in hot and cold environments.
• Stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with accommodation if needed.
• California Beverage Service Certification may be required during training (within 60 days).

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, prompt, attentive service guided by guest preferences.
• Know menu well; confidently recommend and upsell items.
• Prepare food and condiments per Outback standards.
• Ensure accurate guest orders and deliver food and beverages; bussing tables.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Support all areas of the restaurant as needed.
