Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking a Scheduler / Planner (Outage) with extensive experience in power plant maintenance and outage scheduling to lead planning activities and optimize resources. The role requires hands-on use of MS Project and Maximo, and collaboration with Operations, Engineering and vendors.

This is a full-time on-site position in Arkansas, offering opportunities to impact reliability and maintenance strategy within a dynamic energy environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 5 years' experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.
• 3 years of experience with Maximo or other CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and draft maintenance plans (PMs) for the plant.
• Schedule outages and weekly maintenance according to plant needs.
• Determine resources using MS Project, Excel, Maximo and coordinate parts and tools.
• Lead schedule review meetings with stakeholders and optimize critical path.
• Prepare concise schedule variance reports and update daily.
• Provide Maximo training to other planners.
