Lime is hiring an Out-of-Warehouse Operations Associate to join our Operations team in Chicago. You’ll lead deployment of vehicles and assets citywide, manage logistics partners, and optimize field operations to maximize coverage and minimize downtime.

The role blends day-to-day execution with long-term strategic planning using data and market insights to forecast demand and drive measurable impact. Onsite presence is required during business hours.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional work experience in operations, ideally last-mile logistics.
• Experience leading teams or groups preferred.
• Fluent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and coach Operations Specialists across levels.
• Oversee end-to-end out-of-warehouse operations and fleet deployment.
• Analyze market demand to refine placement across zones.
• Manage external partners, drivers, and network performance.
• Ensure field operations meet safety and regulatory requirements.
• Provide feedback and coaching to maintenance staff.
• Optimize routes, placement, and recovery operations to cut downtime and costs.
• Collaborate with Fleet Ops, Gov’t Relations, and product teams on pricing and compliance.
• Lead projects in coverage expansion and partner network development.
