Job summary

Bellingham Public Schools in Bellingham, Massachusetts, seeks an Out-of-District Special Education Coordinator to lead the Out of District Special Education Department. Qualifications

Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
DESE Licensure as a Special Education Administrator required.
DESE Licensure as SEI Administrator Endorsement required.
Demonstrated leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee placement of students in out-of-district programs based on IEPs.
Collaborate with families, districts, and providers to ensure seamless communication.
Monitor student progress and ensure services are provided.
Coordinate annual reviews, re-evaluations, and IEP meetings.
Manage tuition agreements, contracts, and program costs.
Develop transition plans for students returning to in-district programs or aging out.
