Qualifications

• Three years teaching experience in the appropriate curriculum area.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Director of Special Education about matters of special education/regular education coordination relative to curriculum, instruction, assessment and IEP implementation.
• Report to the Special Education Director regarding matters governed by special education regulations, policies and procedures and high profile cases.
• Lead the department in implementing program improvements and coordinating transitions for students.
• Promote collaboration across departments and with community resources to support students with special needs.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Principals or the Special Education Director.

Masters Degree Preferred

Massachusetts Certification in Special Education and Supervision
