The role requires Class A driving experience, ability to travel long distances, and willingness to stay overnight as needed. JD Logistics offers a dynamic, safety-focused team environment.

Qualifications

• OTR/long-haul driving experience preferred.
• Ability to meet DOT driver qualification and medical requirements.
• Knowledge of commercial driving safety standards.
• Strong communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel long distances and stay overnight.

Responsabilités

• Operate Class A commercial tractor-trailers on interstate routes.
• Inspect vehicles and report maintenance issues.
• Comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations including HOS and ELD requirements.
• Ensure cargo securement and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with dispatch on routes, schedules, delays, and exceptions.
• Report accidents, incidents, cargo damage, and other issues promptly.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
