Job summary

DSV is seeking a full-time Driver, OTR in Houston, TX to transport open-deck freight across the United States. You will operate an open-deck tractor/trailer, ensure load security, and maintain compliance with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with DOT medical card.
• Minimum 2 years verifiable CDL experience in past 4 years; 3+ years preferred.
• TWIC card or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Experience with open-deck, multiple trailer configurations preferred.
• Basic computer/ELD proficiency; strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate open-deck tractor/trailer interstate; comply with DOT Hours of Service.
• Transport open-deck freight including oversized cargo.
• Properly secure loads and inspect cargo for safety.
• Maintain DOT/FMCSA compliance and accurate logs.
• Communicate with dispatch and operations staff; assist with loading/unloading as needed.
