Pacific Coast Post-Acute in Salinas, CA is seeking an OTR Hand Therapy Specialist to join our elite rehabilitation team. This part-time and PRN role offers a premium pay rate of $74–$75 per hour and the chance to lead the hand therapy program for complex cases.

You will perform advanced hand diagnostics, post-surgical protocols, custom orthotic fabrication, functional integration, and interdisciplinary leadership, working in a state-of-the-art facility with an ADL suite.

Qualifications

• Valid California Occupational Therapist (OTR) license required.
• Specialization in Hand Therapy; CHT certification is a plus but significant hand-therapy experience accepted.
• Proficiency in manual therapy, wound care, and custom splinting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the hand therapy program for complex post-surgical cases and upper-extremity conditions.
• Perform advanced hand diagnostics including ROM, strength, and sensory testing.
• Implement post-surgical protocols for tendon repairs, fractures, and nerve issues.
• Design and fit custom orthotics to protect healing tissue.
• Bridge clinical exercises to real-world function using ADL simulation.
