Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or license eligible.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Patient assessment: evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
• Treatment and education: create personalized treatment plans and educate clients and families on daily activities and adaptive equipment.
• Documentation: maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and plans, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Advocacy and support: advocate for clients' needs and help access community resources and accommodations.
