Responsibilities:

• Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all DOT regulations and company policies.
• Secure and transport various types of freight, such as steel and oversized loads, utilizing proper load securement techniques.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate logs and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members regarding delivery schedules, load status, and any issues that may arise.
• Ensure timely delivery of freight, providing excellent customer service and maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, contributing to a positive company image and overall safety.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• 1-2 years of verifiable safe driving experience.
• Steel and oversized hauling experience is a plus.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to DOT regulations.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a small, family-oriented team.

Our trucks run regional and long haul runs every week hauling steel, machinery, fabricated steel products and oversize loads. Our drivers are guaranteed home every weekend.
