Job summary

PepsiCo in Coon Rapids, MN is seeking a delivery driver to safely operate a tractor/trailer and transport products to local stores. You’ll load and unload, complete logs, and maintain accurate delivery documentation while upholding FMCSR standards.

The role requires a Class A CDL, 100,000 accident-free miles or 2,500 accident-free hours, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older.
• Possess a valid Class “A” commercial driver’s license.
• Have at least 100,000 verifiable accident-free miles or more than 2,500 accident-free hours.
• Willing to work holidays and weekends.
• Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time, up to five hours daily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work up to 14 hours a day and drive a tractor trailer for extended periods of time, up to 11 hours per day, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor/trailer and transport products to and from specified destinations in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Load and unload trailers, which may include manual loading, palletized loading/unloading, use of a two-wheeler, and lifting product overhead.
• Transport chips, dips, and more to large grocery stores, Frito-Lay manufacturing facilities, rural storage units, and other traffic centers.
• Obtain signatures of receipt, pick up returns, complete logs and paperwork related to deliveries, and review invoices and/or manifests.
• Use an electronic logging device, such as a tablet or onboard computer, and complete pre- and post-trip truck inspections.
• Communicate with customers, sales drivers, and dispatch throughout the day or night.
