Scotts Miracle-Gro is hiring for an hourly yard/shipping role at our Marysville facility. The position follows the Scotts/Hawthorne pay progression and starts at $26.05 per hour, with weekly pay. The exact compensation reflects skills, qualifications, and location.

This hourly role follows the Scotts/Hawthorne step pay progression scale and typically starts at $26.05 per hour and is paid weekly. Scotts/Hawthorne will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.

In this role you will:

• Move all drop trailers in and out of dock door locations in conjunction with shipping and receiving instructions. Move product and trailers across the warehouse lot to different destinations.
• Secure trailers in place using wheel chocks and locking systems. Conduct safety checks prior to forklift drivers entering a trailer. Open and close trailer doors and assist Forklift Drivers as needed.
• Maintain and update relevant paperwork and conduct daily safety audits of the yard. Report and hazards and work with facility leadership on continuous improvement projects.
• Assist third party Drivers by coordinating the movement of trucks within the yard.
