Job summary

PepsiCo in Washington is seeking a CDL Class A tractor-trailer driver to deliver products to local stores and keep shelves stocked. You will operate a tractor/trailer in compliance with FMCSA regs and complete logs, invoices, and safety inspections.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, obtaining receipts, and communicating with customers and dispatch across day/night shifts. Candidates must meet the listed minimum qualifications and be able to lift 15–50 pounds and stand/walk as required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Possess a valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Have at least 100,000 verifiable accident-free miles or more than 2,500 accident-free hours.
• Willing to work holidays and weekends.
• Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to sit for extended periods, up to five hours daily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work up to 14 hours a day and drive a tractor trailer for extended periods, up to 11 hours per day, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor/trailer and transport products to and from specified destinations in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Load and unload trailers, which may include manual loading, palletized loading/unloading, use of a two-wheeler, and lifting product overhead.
• Transport chips, dips, and more to large grocery stores, Frito-Lay manufacturing facilities, rural storage units, and other traffic centers.
• Obtain signatures of receipt, pick up returns, complete logs and paperwork related to deliveries, and review invoices and/or manifests.
• Use an electronic logging device, such as a tablet or onboard computer, and complete pre- and post-trip truck inspections.
• Communicate with customers, sales drivers, and dispatch throughout the day or night.
