Job summary

Sellenriek is seeking an experienced Heavy Haul OTR Driver in Missouri to transport heavy equipment between sites and company locations. You will load and secure loads, operate lowboy and RGN trailers, and coordinate routes with dispatch, ensuring DOT compliance.

Ideal candidates have Class A CDL with heavy haul experience, clean driving records, and the ability to plan safe, legal routes for oversized loads. This full-time role requires adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with endorsements as required for heavy haul
• Experience hauling heavy equipment on long-haul routes
• Proven experience with lowboy or RGN trailers

Responsibilities

# OTR DriverJonesburg, MO 63351## OverviewPosition TypeFull Time## OTR DriverThe Heavy Haul OTR Driver is responsible for safely loading, securing, transporting, and unloading heavy equipment and machinery to job sites and company locations. This position requires experience hauling heavy and oversized loads, strong knowledge of DOT requirements, and safe operation of lowboy/RGN or similar trailers.### Key Responsibilities* Transport heavy equipment and machinery between job sites and company locations.* Safely load, secure, and unload equipment using chains, binders, and proper tie-down procedures.* Operate lowboy, RGN, flatbed, or similar heavy-haul trailers.* Plan routes based on load dimensions, weight restrictions, permits, and road limitations.* Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.* Maintain DOT logs, permits, inspection forms, and transport documentation.* Monitor axle weights and ensure loads meet legal weight and securement requirements.* Communicate with dispatch and field crews regarding deliveries, delays, and equipment needs.* Report vehicle, trailer, or equipment issues and coordinate maintenance as needed.### Required Qualifications* Valid Class A CDL.* Heavy haul/equipment transportation experience required.* Experience with lowboy and/or RGN trailers.* Experience transporting oversized and overweight equipment preferred.* Knowledge of DOT regulations, load securement, permits, routing, and axle-weight requirements.* Ability to safely load and unload heavy construction equipment.* Acceptable driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements.
