Job Title: Jump Seat Driver

Job Overview:

The OTR position is a team-based role responsible for delivering products safely, accurately, and on time to our company-owned branch locations on a weekly dedicated schedule. As a Jump Seat Driver, you will be guaranteed 2,100 miles per week with a $.06/mile premium, enjoy a flexible schedule, and drive different routes. At each branch, you will unload products using a forklift to the correct location and load core products for the return trip to Distribution. You will also verify the accuracy of paperwork at each location and log your hours using an Electronic Logging Device (ELD). While possessing a Class A CDL is required for the OTR position, a current CDL is not necessary to apply. JASPER can sponsor the right candidate for CDL-A training and licensing. Previous forklift experience is a plus. Key qualities include a sense of urgency and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Must pass DOT Physical, Background Check, and Drug Screen
• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and move materials up to 25 lbs
• Ability to use handheld tools such as tablets and GPS devices
• Physical activity requirements: standing and walking occasionally; sitting frequently; stooping and reaching overhead occasionally
