Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Mississippi is seeking a domicile driver to transport, deliver and unload metal roofing panels to dealers, distribution centers and job sites using a tractor-trailer on an over-the-road route.

The day shift offers base pay starting at $28.00 per hour plus an $8,000 bonus. Full-time employees receive medical, dental and vision benefits from day one, PTO, 401(k) and other programs. A valid Class A CDL with a clean MVR is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Valid Medical Card.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload using a Moffett when delivering to customer locations.
• Deliver material in route fashion to destinations per regulations.
• Maintain records for logs, fuel, mileage and compliance.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and keep vehicle clean.
• Report repairs and maintenance needs promptly.
• Ensure compliance with DOT guidelines and company policies.
