Job summary

Walmart is seeking Class A CDL drivers for its private fleet. Regional drivers earn up to $110,000 in their first year, with local drivers earning up to $87,000 annually and home every evening. Benefits start day one, including PTO, 401(k) match, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Hazmat endorsement with cleared background within 120 days of hire.
• Minimum 30 months in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer role in previous 3 years (36 months).
• Option to complete Walmart Fleet Development Academy Program.
• No more than two moving violations in last 3 years.
• No serious traffic violations in last 3 years.
• No preventable accidents in last 3 years.
• No preventable DOT recordable accidents in last 10 years.
• Must live within 250 miles of the assigned facility or relocate within 250 miles by 90 days from hire.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Walmart safety, integrity, and professionalism mile after mile.
• Plan daily routes, set priorities, and coordinate with the team to move freight safely and on time.
• Complete required paperwork and electronic logs; follow DOT, state, and company guidelines.
• Safely operate tractor-trailer; inspect vehicle before, during, and after trips to maintain top condition.
• Follow traffic laws and local restrictions to optimize routes and on-time delivery.
