Job summary

Blue Trucking is seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers to haul USPS mail under a dedicated, fixed-rate contract. This OTR role covers lanes east of I-35 with mostly drop-and-hook freight and weekly direct deposit.

The position offers high-mileage miles, modern equipment, and steady miles with home time every 10–14 days. Candidates must have at least 3 months OTR experience, pass DOT screen, and maintain a safety-focused driving record.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable OTR tractor-trailer experience.
• Ability to pass DOT drug screen, background check, and physical.
• Strong commitment to safety and professional driving habits.
• Willingness to be out on the road for extended periods (home time every 10–14 days).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport preplanned USPS loads across assigned lanes
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and comply with all Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
• Secure loads properly and ensure timely deliveries
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and follow route plans
• Adhere to all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies
