Job summary

ISP Logistics is seeking a 1099 Contractor Class A CDL OTR driver to transport freight across long distances, often nationwide, living and working out of a semi-truck for weeks at a time. Responsibilities include operating heavy vehicles, managing electronic logbooks, conducting inspections, and meeting strict delivery schedules.

Out 2 to 4 weeks at a time with CPM pay and a $2,500 sign-on bonus. Requirements include a valid CDL-A, 2 years OTR, DOT physical, drug screen, clean driving record,

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Endorsements and TWIC are a plus
• Age 21+ for interstate commerce
• Typically 2 years of verifiable OTR experience
• DOT physical exam and drug screening required
• Clean driving record with limited violations and no major preventable accidents
• Hazmat/tanker/doubles or triples endorsements preferred for specialized freight

Responsibilities

• Drive long distances hauling 53-foot dry van, reefer, flatbed, and step deck trailers across state lines
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
• Adhere to HOS rules and manage electronic logging devices (ELD)
• Secure cargo using straps, bars, or chains; no-touch freight unload
• Report delays, route changes, and maintenance issues to dispatch
