Job summary

Optimum Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL driver for over-the-road regional routes. The role involves operating a sleeper tractor with curtain-side trailers, manual transmission, and hauling building products across the Eastern U.S.

and Midwest. Expect 2–3 trips per week, 1–4 stops per trip, Sunday depart and Friday return. You must be 23+, 24 months experience, pass DOT/drug/background checks, and avoid major violations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 24 months of recent verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Must be 23 years of age or older.
• Manual Transmission experience REQUIRED.
• Comfortable operating Curtain-Side Trailers and Sleeper Tractor.
• OTR driving with multiple nights away from home.
• DOT Physical, Drug Screen, and Background Checks required.
• No DUIs/DWIs within last 5 years; no more than 3 moving violations in 36 months.

Responsibilities

• Haul Building Products 8–20 ft. in length across Eastern U.S. and Midwest.
• Complete approximately 2–3 trips per week with 1–4 stops per trip.
• Depart Sunday afternoon and return Friday afternoon.
• Operate Sleeper Tractor with Curtain-Side Trailers; manual transmission.
• Follow all DOT requirements and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Earn $30.00/HR | $1,500+/WK!
• OT After 40 Hours
• Depart Sunday afternoon and return by Friday afternoon
• Complete approximately 2–3 trips per week with 1–4 stops per trip
• Operate a Sleeper Tractor with Curtain-Side Trailers and occasional Dry Vans
• MANUAL TRANSMISSION – Manual driving experience required
• Haul Building Products, including building materials approximately 8–20 ft. in length
• Routes run throughout the Eastern U.S. and Midwest
• No NYC or Long Island deliveries
• Loads originate out of Marion, VA
• Must be comfortable operating Curtain-Side Trailers
• Safely complete assigned OTR routes while following all DOT requirements

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• 24 months of recent verifiable commercial driving experience
• Must be 23 years of age or older
• Manual Transmission experience REQUIRED
• Must be able to safely operate a Manual Sleeper Tractor
• Must be comfortable operating Curtain-Side Trailers
• Dry Van experience preferred
• Must be comfortable with OTR driving and spending multiple nights away from home
• Must be available to depart on Sundays
• Must be comfortable running throughout the Eastern U.S. and Midwest
• Must be comfortable completing approximately 2–3 trips per week with 1–4 stops per trip
• Must be able to pass a DOT Physical, Drug Screen, and Background Checks
• No DUIs/DWIs within the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations within the last 36 months
