Job summary

Optimum Staffing, Inc. seeks full-time OTR team drivers out of La Porte, IN. You will operate a Sleeper Truck with a 53′ Dry Van or Reefer and team up with a partner to cover routes to Whitehall, MI; Cleveland, OH; Dover, NJ; and Hampton, VA.

You must hold a valid Class A CDL with at least 24 months of verifiable driving experience, be 23 or older, and be comfortable with approximately 4,000 miles per week. DOT physical, drug screen, and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with at least 24 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Must be 23 years of age or older.
• Comfortable operating a 53′ Dry Van and/or Reefer.
• Willing to run approximately 4,000 miles per week and be open to OTR driving.
• Pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background checks.
• No DUIs/DWIs within the last 5 years; no more than 3 moving violations in 36 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Sleeper Truck with a 53′ Dry Van or Reefer.
• Transport Aerospace Materials safely and efficiently.
• Routes originate in La Porte, IN with runs to Whitehall, MI; Cleveland, OH; Dover, NJ; Hampton, VA.
• Touch freight as required during deliveries.
• Work 8–10 hour shifts depending on routes.

• Earn $2,000–$2,10/WK per driver! Compensation based on Mileage, Stops, and Dock Work
• Full-time OTR driving position as a Teams position; you will meet your partner to make sure it is a good fit before being put together.
• Operate a Sleeper Truck with a 53′ Dry Van or Reefer
• Transport Aerospace Materials safely and efficiently
• Routes originate in La Porte, IN to pick up load with runs to Whitehall, MI; Cleveland, OH; Dover, NJ; and Hampton, VA
• Touch Freight: Assist with freight and delivery responsibilities as required
• Work approximately 8–10 hour shifts, depending on assigned routes

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• 24 months of recent verifiable commercial driving experience
• Must be 23 years of age or older
• Must be comfortable operating a 53′ Dry Van and/or Reefer

• Must be comfortable with OTR driving and extended time on the road
• Ability to handle Touch Freight and delivery responsibilities as required
• Must be flexible with schedule and dispatch times based on route needs
• Must be able to pass a DOT Physical, Drug Screen, and Background Checks
• No DUIs/DWIs within the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations within the last 36 months
