Job summary

Optimum Staffing , Inc in La Porte, IN is seeking a full-time OTR truck driver to transport aerospace materials on open routes. You will operate a Sleeper Tractor with 53′ Flatbed and Dry Van trailers, typically Monday–Friday with dispatch around 5:00–6:00 AM, and weekends off.

The role offers weekly pay, mileage and dock pay, and benefits. Valid Class A CDL with 24 months of verifiable driving experience is required, along with flexibility for route changes and DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with 24 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Comfortable running OTR and spending nights away from home.
• Must be comfortable operating a Sleeper Tractor with Flatbed and Dry Van equipment.
• Must be willing and able to perform Touch Freight when required.
• Must be able to pass a DOT Physical, Drug Screen, and Background Checks.
• No DUIs/DWIs within the last 5 years and no more than 3 moving violations within the last 36 months.

Responsibilities

• Earn $2,000–$2,100 per week depending on route.
• Compensation includes mileage, stop & dock pay.
• Paid weekly; benefits offered; weekends off.
• Full-time OTR teams position based out of La Porte, IN.
• Typically Monday–Friday with approximately 5:00–6:00 AM dispatch.
• Operate a Sleeper Tractor with 53′ Flatbed and Dry Van trailers.
• Transport aerospace materials on open routes based on customer needs.
• Routes may vary between Ohio, Michigan, New Jersey, Hampton, VA, and Tennessee.
