Job summary

JDM Expedite is currently hiring experienced Company Truck Drivers to join our Des Moines, IA team. The role uses company-provided Freightliner Cascadia trucks to haul dry van freight, Varying routes, and no-touch loads.

Compensation is per mile with potential referral and safety bonuses. Drivers operate as 1099 contractors and must meet DOT/FMCSA regulations. We provide the truck and equipment and expect professional communication with dispatch and customers.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Clean and safe driving record required.
• Ability to meet applicable DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the assigned commercial motor vehicle.
• Complete loads and deliveries on schedule.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and required documentation.
• Follow all applicable DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers.

Company Truck Driver - Dry Van

We are currently hiring experienced Company Truck Drivers to join our growing team. We provide the truck and equipment, and drivers operate company-provided Freightliner Cascadia trucks.

Compensation

• Up to $0.80 per mile (CPM)
• Paid on both loaded and empty miles
• 1099 contractor compensation
• Referral and safety bonus opportunities

Equipment

Drivers may be assigned one of the following:

• Freightliner Cascadia Evolution 126
• Model years 2023-2027, subject to availability
• Trucks are maintained and operated in compliance with applicable DOT requirements

Truck assignments are available on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.

Freight and Operation

• Dry van freight
• Power-only operation
• No-touch freight
• Light and clean commodities
• Over-the-road driving

Driver Responsibilities
