Job summary

CDL A Sense is seeking OTR CDL-A truck drivers with a valid Class A license. A minimum of 3 months verifiable experience is required, with a clean DOT record and the ability to pass drug testing. Drivers will be part of a team with regular orientations in Springfield, IL.

We offer competitive pay: $0.57–$0.64 per mile, averaging $1300–$1800 weekly, home weekends, and modern equipment. Full benefits, rider and pet programs, and 401K with matching after 30 days are included.

What Drivers Are Offered.

• Modern Equipment: Drive top-of-the-line Cascadias andT680s with automatic transmissions. Can take truck home but must includethe trailer. If you don't have a place to park, you can park at a truck stop as longas you have a Dash Valve Lock.
• Diverse Freight: All no-touch freight with 50%-60% being drop and hook.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 months experience in the last 36 months. The 3 months of experience must be with no more than two carriers, and the driver can have no preventable CMV accidents during the 3 months.
• Clean Record: No more than one at-fault accident in thelast three years, DOT Recordable in the last year will be reviewed; nomore than three moving violations in the last three years, and only one can be a major moving violation.
• Drug testing: The driver must be able to pass urine and hair tests.
• Safety First: You cannot be terminated from your last job for any safety violation.
• Location: Springfield, IL
• Timing: Orientations run Monday to Thursday.
• Travel Covered: We'll cover your travel expenses and bus ticket to the closest terminal.
