Job summary

Cdl A Sense is seeking OTR CDL-A truck drivers with a valid Class A license and at least 3 months of verifiable experience. Drivers will handle no-touch freight, mostly east of I-35, with a strong benefits package and a rider/pet program from day one.

Expect competitive weekly pay ($1,300–$1,800), home weekends or more on the road for higher earnings, and modern Cascadia/T680 tractors with automatic transmissions. Orientations run Mon–Thu; Springfield, IL location applies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 months verifiable experience in the last 36 months.
• Clean driving record with limited accidents and violations in the past three years.
• Ability to pass urine and hair tests per drug screening requirements.
• Orientation typically held Mon–Thu.
• Location requirement: Springfield, IL; travel covered to the nearest terminal.

Responsibilities

• Operate OTC CDL-A long-haul routes across multiple states (primarily east of I-35).
• Maintain safe driving practices and comply with DOT regulations.
• Work on an as-needed schedule with potential for home weekends.
• Utilize modern equipment and no-touch freight when possible.
• Participate in orientation and travel arrangements provided by the company.

Looking for OTR drivers with a valid ClassA License.

A minimum of 3 months of verifiable experience is needed!

What Drivers Are Offered.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 months experience in the last 36 months. The 3 months of experience must be with no more than two carriers, and the driver can have no preventable CMV accidents during the 3 months.
• Clean Record: No more than one at-fault accident in thelast three years, DOT Recordable in the last year will be reviewed; nomore than three moving violations in the last three years, and only one can be a major moving violation.
• Drug testing: The driver must be able to pass urine and hair tests.
• Safety First: You cannot be terminated from your last job for any safety violation.

• Timing: Orientations run Monday to Thursday.
• Travel Covered: We'll cover your travel expenses and bus ticket to the closest terminal.
