Job summary

Altom Transport is seeking professional tanker drivers to safely operate our fleet across the United States and Canada, transporting bulk liquid chemicals and petroleum products. You will follow strict safety protocols, complete pre/post-trip inspections, and maintain accurate logs while representing Altom with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A License.
• Must hold a current X endorsement (Hazmat + Tanker).
• Tanker Endorsement (N) – Required.
• Hazmat Endorsement (H) – Preferred (must obtain within 90 days of hire; assistance available).
• TWIC Card – Preferred (or must obtain after hire).
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable tanker driving experience within the last 5 years.
• At least 23 years of age.
• Clean MVR and strong safety record.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tanker trucks transporting bulk liquid materials.
• Load and unload using hoses, pumps, and valves with strict safety protocols.
• Conduct and document pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate trip records, logs, and inspection reports.
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers.
• Adhere to DOT, EPA, and all applicable safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Represent Altom with professionalism during customer interactions.
