Job summary

BB8 Freight is seeking a CDL-A flatbed driver to safely operate a flatbed tractor-trailer and handle live loads on 48ft/53ft equipment.

Contract role with weekly pay ($2,500–$3,500), direct deposit every Friday, and various bonuses. Home time is generous: 3 weeks out, 4 full days at home, resume on the 5th day.

Required 2+ years CDL-A, verifiable flatbed experience, no more than 3 moving violations in 2 years, and experience with lumber, steel, coils, or heavy machinery.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years CDL-A experience (verifiable).
Must have verifiable flatbed experience.
No more than 3 moving violations in the last 2 years.
Experience with loads (lumber, steel, coils, heavy machinery, etc.).
Experience with chains, chain binders, straps, tarps, blankets, dunnage and edge protectors.
No SAP Violations.
NO CALIFORNIA CDLS.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a CDL-A flatbed truck.
Complete daily pre-trip inspections.
Secure and transport freight safely & efficiently.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
