Job summary

TransForce is seeking CDL-A drivers for regional operations based in Myerstown, Pennsylvania. This direct-hire opportunity offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to join a driver-focused team.

Pay ranges from $75,000 to $110,000 per year with a Monday–Friday schedule, 6:00 a.m. start, and 40 hours weekly. Overnight schedule keeps you out during the week and home on weekends; equipment is a CDL-A tractor-trailer with an automatic transmission.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• 6+ months of recent, relevant driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer on regional routes.
• Transport furniture to commercial and residential locations per DOT standards.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections; maintain logs and paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations personnel.
• Assist with loading/unloading as needed; unload with rolling cages or carts.

About the Position

Our client is seeking CDL-A drivers for regional operations based in Myerstown, Pennsylvania. This direct-hire opportunity offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to join a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $75,000–$110,000 per year
• Schedule: Monday through Friday with a 6:00 a.m. start time
• Overnight Schedule: Drivers will be out during the week and home on weekends
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• After training, drivers may be permitted to take the equipment home
• Route Type: Regional
• Equipment: CDL-A tractor-trailer with an automatic transmission and dry van
• Handling: Heavy touch, including assisting with loading and unloading as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer on regional routes
• Transport furniture to commercial and residential customer locations in accordance with DOT and safety standards
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations personnel
• Assist with loading and unloading freight as needed
• Unload products by hand using rolling cages, a hand cart, or a dolly when necessary
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
