Job summary

TransForce is seeking a CDL-A Driver to support regional operations based in Myerstown, PA. This role offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

You will drive a CDL-A tractor-trailer for furniture freight on a Mon-Fri schedule, with a 6 am start and home on weekends after training. Light loading/unloading may be required; equipment may be kept home after training.

• Minimum 9 months of recent, verifiable driving experience.
• Clean MVR with no major violations in last 3 years.
• Must meet DOT and FMCSA requirements.

Responsibilities

CDL-A Direct Hire Driver Details:

• Schedule: Driver will work Mon-Fri / 6 am start time, will be out all week, home weekends. After training, the driver may take the equipment home.
• Pay: $75k-$110k per year
• Route Type: Regional
• Freight / Load Type: Furniture
• Equipment: CDL-A tractor-trailer, dry van, automatic
• Handling: Heavy touch

CDL-A Direct Minimum Requirements:

• License: CDL-A
• Experience: at least 9 months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Endorsements: None
• Equipment Experience: CDL-A tractor-trailer experience,
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL-A Driver Responsibilities:

• Safely operate equipment on regional or local routes
• Transport furniture to different commercial and residential customer locations in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Light touch position, drivers will assist with loading/unloading as needed. Will unload products by hand (rolling cages) or using a hand cart/dolly if needed.
