Job summary

Coastal Horizons is seeking an OTP Counselor-CADC-I to provide individual and group counseling to patients in the Opioid Treatment Program. The role requires early morning hours, coordination with medical staff, and strict documentation adherence.

The candidate should have CADC-I and LCAS registrations, a high school diploma or higher, and at least one year of relevant experience in SUD and MAT settings. Full-time position with benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma, equivalent, or higher combined with knowledge of wellness and recovery based concepts.
• Registration with NCSAPPB as CADC-I, LCAS.
• One year or more of experience working with substance use disorder patients preferred.
• One year or more of experience working within medication assisted treatment programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions focused on relapse prevention, coping skills, and recovery support.
• Monitor patient progress and document all clinical activities in accordance with regulatory and agency standards.
• Coordinates care with clinical and medical team by reviewing with patients, scheduling needed appointments, monitoring urine drug screen results, and referrals to community supports.
• Coordinate care with medical staff, case managers, and community resources.
• Complete required documentation including progress notes, treatment plan reviews, and discharge summaries in a timely manner.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case consultations.
• Educate patients and families on opioid use disorder and medication-assisted treatment.
• Maintain compliance with SAMHSA, DEA, and state regulatory requirements governing OTP programs.
• Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality standards (42 CFR Part 2).
• Participate in regular clinical supervision as required by CADC-I scope of practice.
