An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Otolaryngologist to join a thriving practice or hospital-owned facility. This role involves diagnosing and treating a variety of ENT disorders, performing surgical procedures, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Dedicated and experienced Otolaryngologist to either join a thriving private practice or be employed by the hospital owned practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. This includes medical and surgical care for patients suffering from complications, illnesses, and injuries that affect these areas.
Responsibilities:
1. Examine patients presenting with ENT, head, and neck-related issues.
2. Diagnose and treat conditions such as ear infections, sinusitis, sleep disorders, allergies, and voice disorders.
3. Perform surgical interventions when necessary, including but not limited to, tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, myringotomies, and cochlear implantations.
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as audiologists and speech therapists, to plan treatment and follow-up.
5. Educate patients on the preventative measures and treatment options related to ENT disorders.
6. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of all patient interactions.
7. Stay abreast of the latest developments in the field of otolaryngology to provide the highest standard of care.
Qualifications:
1. Medical degree from an accredited institution.
2. Completion of a residency in Otolaryngology.
3. Board certified or board eligible in Otolaryngology.
4. Valid and active medical license in Connecticut.
5. Exceptional understanding of otolaryngology principles and techniques.
6. Excellent communication and patient management skills.
7. Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
