ENT Opening in Gloversville, New York

Located 1 hour from Albany, NY, and 45 minutes from Saratoga, NY.

Position Details:

• Full-time, permanent position
• Seeking a full-time Otolaryngologist to join a growing network
• Position available due to community demand
• Small hospital in Gloversville, NY, with a strong panel of patient-centered, multidisciplinary providers serving Fulton, Montgomery, and Hamilton Counties
• Practice moving to a larger office with on-site scope resource support and plans to develop an allergy practice

Position Structure:

Work within the ENT practice with a daytime call schedule coordinated with the other physician. Rounding schedules will be established for overnight consults. Office hours are 8:30 am to 5 pm. Access to an Advanced Practice Provider for rounding or assistance with inpatient or surgical work.

Night and weekend call responsibilities include 7 nights of ER call (sparse) and 10 nights of practice-related call, often concurrent. Occasionally, urgent calls from ER or hospitalists may occur, such as transfer requests.

The position can be structured as a 4- or 5-day workweek, considered full-time. Compensation depends on selected conditions. The hospital offers a starting salary at the MGMA median for the specialty in the region.
