Job summary

SERVPRO Team Dobson is hiring an HVAC Duct Cleaning Technician to join a fast-paced cleaning and restoration team. You will perform residential duct cleaning, inspect ducts, prep rooms, and operate floor care and cleaning tasks, with attention to safety and quality.

The role requires reliability, ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance, a valid driver's license, and willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing. Weekend/evening availability may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Carpet and upholstery cleaning
• Prepare floors to clean, buff, or refinish them
• Perform buffing and refinishing activities to ensure that designated floors are kept shiny and clean
• Operate floor care equipment such as automatic scrubbers, floor machines, and dry vacuums
• Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
• Notify building management of any repairs required
• Mix and dispose of all cleaning solutions properly
• Multi surface/Window cleaning
• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project.
• As an HVAC Duct Cleaning Technician, you provide expert residential duct cleaning services and perform duct inspections before and after service.
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project.
• Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance.
• Ensure clear two-way communication with crew chief and other technicians (especially regarding customer needs and concerns).
• Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance.
• General cleaning, Coverage for janitorial accounts

Qualifications:

• Ability to successfully complete a full background check subject to applicable law
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
• Must have valid driver's license

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Exposure to chemicals
• Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing,
• Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
• Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces under buildings)
• Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects

Pay: $18 per hour. Experience preferred, not required.

Hours: Full Time. Needs availability to work both weekends and nights/evenings occasionally.
