Job summary
Accupac is seeking a Production Planning & Procurement Specialist to coordinate production schedules, material planning and direct material procurement to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing and OTIF delivery. This role links Operations, Procurement, Manufacturing, Customer Experience, and Suppliers to balance demand, capacity, inventory and material availability.
You will drive operational excellence and customer service across the supply chain, supporting NPI and continuous improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience supporting operations in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules to support demand and OTIF.
- Utilize ERP/MRP and scheduling systems to manage capacity and priorities.
- Coordinate daily scheduling with Manufacturing, Packaging, and Procurement.
- Lead schedule review meetings and address production constraints.
- Monitor inventory levels and delivery performance metrics.
- Support New Product Introductions and planning activities.
- Execute purchase orders and manage direct material replenishment.
- Monitor supplier performance, lead times and material availability.
- Expedite and de-expedite orders to meet changing requirements.
- Identify supply risks and implement recovery plans.
- Maintain supplier, pricing, lead time, and procurement data in ERP.
- Track and report KPIs including OTIF and schedule adherence.
