Timuquana Country Club is a traditional private club located on the banks of the St. John’s River in Jacksonville, Florida. Open six days a week, 12 months per year, the 103 year-old, member-owned club has 1,100 member families. Job Summary

Timuquana Country Club is seeking a full-time to-go specialist/server. While the primary focus of this role is coordinating accurate, timely, and well‑packaged to‑go orders, the ideal candidate must also be flexible and willing to take on traditional serving shifts as needed. You will work closely with runners, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service in both capacities while providing warm, attentive, member‑focused hospitality.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Expectations

To‑Go Specialist Responsibilities (Primary Role)

• Coordinate accurate, timely, and well‑packaged to‑go orders.
• Ensure all orders are checked for quality, completeness, and proper presentation before release.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to manage order timing and special requests.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient to‑go station.
• Provide warm, attentive, member‑focused service during pickup and phone interactions.
• Manage multiple orders at once while staying calm, organized, and detail‑oriented.
• Demonstrate flexibility by adjusting to fluctuating volume and shifting priorities.

Server Responsibilities (As Needed)

• Provide warm, discreet, and efficient table service in all dining outlets.
• Guide members through menus and specials with accurate, helpful knowledge.
• Anticipate needs and personalize service based on member preferences.
• Maintain proper table settings and are cleanliness before, during, and after service.
• Follow club standards for timing, presentation, and service etiquette.
• Respond promptly and professionally to member feedback.

Ideal Qualifications, Abilities, and Principles:

Education & Experience

• At least one year of experience in a similar club, restaurant, or customer service setting (food service industry experience preferred).
• At least 18 years of age or older.
• Serv Certification (club can help you acquire)
• Ability to effectively communicate and/or present information and respond to questions from member/guests, managers, and peers.
• Ability to identify problems, draw valid conclusions, and problem solve.
• Ability to efficiently multi-task and work as a team.
• Professional, friendly manner and excellent customer service attitude and abilities.

Availability

• This position is available for full-time individuals only. Candidates must be willing to have flexible schedules and must be willing to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Shifts will differ in length.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays is a must.

Estimated Base Pay Range

• Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Starting Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
