Job summary

PruittHealth in Estill, KY is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant to implement therapy plans, assist with activities of daily living, and guide exercises to help patients regain independence. The role is based at 200 Liberty Street South, Estill, with full-time schedule and opportunities for collaborative care within a supportive team.

This position offers compensation up to $100,000 per year, depending on experience, schedule, and location, along with comprehensive benefits,

Qualifications

• Associate degree from accredited OTA program.
• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license in state of practice.
• New graduates welcome to apply.
• Experience in rehabilitation or post-acute care preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Foreign-trained applicants must have credentials deemed equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under OT supervision.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and functional tasks.
• Guide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve independence.
• Observe and report patient progress to the Occupational Therapist.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Support interdisciplinary care planning and treatment goals.
