North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a Supervisory Occupational Therapy role in Tupelo, MS. The incumbent will oversee clinical operations, delegate tasks to Technicians, and ensure timely, compliant documentation and budgeting within the department.

The position emphasizes maintaining departmental productivity, evaluating treatment plans, and mentoring staff while supporting ongoing education and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Delegates authority to Technicians Clinical.
• Maintains productivity level at department target.
• Evaluates and establishes treatment plan for any patient referred to Occupational Therapy.
• Maintains competency in standardized testing, Therapeutic exercise, ADL training, Cognitive skills, Wheelchair transfers.
• Attends and provides continuing education in-servicing.
• Serves as mentor for new employee(s) or volunteers
• Serves as clinical instructor for OTA students after one year of experience as a clinician
• Completes documentation according to all regulations and in a timely manner Budget:
• Remains within monthly budget when ordering equipment and supplies
• Charges patients appropriately and in a timely manner for treatment and equipment
• Must be competent in use of computer for documentation and charging purposes
