Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Richmond is seeking a Therapy Team Leader who will balance hands-on patient care with supervision and mentoring of therapists.

You will evaluate patients, develop therapy plans, supervise staff, and coordinate schedules to help our patients achieve meaningful outcomes in a supportive inpatient setting. A current state license (PT/OT/SLP), BLS, and leadership experience are required; commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Current state license as PT, OT, or SLP; CPR/BLS required or obtainable within 30 days of hire.
• 3+ years of discipline-specific experience and leadership exposure.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
