Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking an OT Therapist III at Western State Hospital in Staunton to plan and deliver occupational therapy services, providing clinical guidance to rehabilitative staff. This role focuses on comprehensive therapy approaches and meeting regulatory and documentation standards.

You will supervise OT students, contribute to program development, and maintain patient contact hours while aligning with agency policies and state regulations.

Qualificações

• Graduation from an OT program accredited by AMA and AOTA per VA code 54.1-2956.3.
• Board certification to practice occupational therapy.
• NBCOT OT-R certification or eligibility within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide 18-20 hours of patient contact per week in OT programs and assessments.
• Ensure evaluations and documentation meet deadlines and standards.
• Supervise and schedule affiliating OT students.
• Assist in design and implementation of new OT programs and assessments.
