Job summary

Chevron Corporation seeks a Surface MCP - OT Systems Lead to provide technical leadership for OT and PCN solutions on major capital projects. You will coordinate with engineering, operations, cybersecurity, IT, vendors, and project teams to deliver secure, integrated OT solutions that meet project objectives.

The role requires strong OT and industrial cybersecurity knowledge, experience with DCS/PLC/SIS, and the ability to travel to project sites and offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years leading Operational Technology or related disciplines in industrial or energy environments.
• Experience supporting large capital projects through design, implementation, testing, commissioning, and startup.
• Strong knowledge of DCS, PLC, SIS and OT infrastructure concepts.
• Experience with PCN, network segmentation, and secure OT principles.
• Understanding of industrial cybersecurity concepts and secure-by-design approaches.
• Experience with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; able to influence decisions.
• Willingness and ability to travel to project sites and offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead OT solution development for major capital projects.
• Provide technical leadership for industrial control systems and edge computing.
• Establish OT architecture standards and governance across activities.
• Collaborate with project teams, operations, contractors, and vendors to meet requirements.
• Review designs during planning, procurement, testing, commissioning, and startup.
• Support integration of control systems, networks, historians, and telecoms into OT.
• Develop modernization and lifecycle strategies for brownfield/greenfield sites.
• Ensure cybersecurity is integrated in design and operations.
• Support transition-to-operations planning and procedures.
• Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies; drive safe execution.
